Contact Shawn for a mechanical engineering consultation.
Shawn provides plans related to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system designs. The process of producing the plans includes the calculations necessary to size the system, equipment selection, duct sizing, pipe sizing and finally drafting. The plans are typically used to secure a permit for a project, so a contractor can bid a project and finally so the HVAC system can be constructed. Shawn can also provide plumbing drawings and pressure piping drawings. Shawn would also be happy to assistance with any related design questions.
To quote St. Ignatius of Loyola: Ad maiorem Dei gloriam inque hominum salutem or "for the greater glory of God and the salvation of humanity". Let us remember that our work is first for the love of God and after that for the love of neighbor. Related to love of neighbor, Shawn is happy to humbly offer his services to anyone in need of a mechanical engineer. He would be happy to assist in any way he can. He will try to keep his fees reasonable. The goal of life is NOT to get rich with money, but rich with the joy of living a good life!
Shawn's aim is to design heating and air conditioning systems that will be comfortable, efficient and quiet. His aim is to design ventilation systems that will provide a healthy indoor environment. To make the world a better place, a little at a time!
Shawn graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering in May 2000. A few weeks later he was introduced to the world of design build construction in the mechanical engineering department at Shambaugh and Son in Fort Wayne, IN. In 2002, Shawn went to work at the mechanical engineering department at Scholer Corporation, an AE firm in Lafayette, IN. After a little over a year there, he moved to the Cincinnati OH area and worked on kitchen hood systems at Air Solutions. In 2004, Shawn passed the Professional Engineering Exam and was issued a Professional Engineering license in Ohio. He later became registered in Kentucky and Indiana also. In 2005, Shawn started his own business. By the goodness and grace of God, Shawn has been able to continue providing engineering services to a wide variety of clients in the Cincinnati area.
