In 2005, Shawn Jacobs Engineering was started in the basement of Shawn's house. Literally, it was started in the basement. Many years later and many moves later, Shawn is back to working in the basement of his house. Don't let it fool you folks, the basement of a house can be a very productive office! 

Shawn Jacobs Engineering is a one man engineering operation. Shawn does all of the calculations, sizing, selection, meetings, coordination and anything else that is done. The benefit of that is Shawn can get the entire company on the same page very quickly. The downside is that sometimes there is more work than one person can do. We do ask for your patience. Shawn wouldn't be disappointed if you gave him a few weeks notice on upcoming projects!
